Join Strong’s Marine for our Fourth Annual Strong Women on the Water educational event series!  We believe in empowering our women clients and team members to feel comfortable on the water and support the opportunity to gain on water education and experience.  

EVENT DETAILS: 

Each session lasts 2.5 hours, featuring two hours on the water and time beforehand to enjoy bagels and coffee. You'll step aboard one of our fleet boats for a hands-on experience, where you can refine your skills, take the helm, and get all your questions answered.

DATES & TOPICS:  

Sat, April 19, 9am - 11:30 am – Boating Basics: Learn the terms, functions and uses for all items on board including safety equipment, electronics and navigation devices. 

Sat, April 26, 9 am - 11:30 am – Navigation: On water experience learning about aids to navigation, rules of the water and anchoring.  

Sat, May 3, 9 am - 11:30 am – Docking: Practice your docking skills, setting dock lines and more (“slow is pro”!)

Strong's Marine Mattituck Bay, 2400 Camp Mineola Rd, Mattituck, NY 11952 (meet in the Rentals office to start!)

PRICE: 

Strong’s Clients – $50 per person per class 

Non-clients – $100 per person per class
