HOW DO I GET THE TOWN OF ISLIP RESIDENT DECAL?
To receive the Town of Islip Resident rate, and priority booking, you must have a Town of Islip Resident Decal. For boaters who keep their boat at a town owned marina, the sticker provided by the town will be accepted. For boaters who keep their boats at a private dock or private marina, you can purchase your decal through us by clicking here and following the instructions. The process is nearly identical to the towns process, just handled by us now. Only Town of Islip residents can apply for and use a Town of Islip Resident Decal.
HOW DO I RESERVE A SLIP?
Reservations are taken exclusively through Dockwa. See our Reservations page to submit a reservation.
WHEN WILL WE BE ABLE TO RESERVE SLIPS?
Residents with a Town of Islip Resident Decal are able to book slips 5 weeks in advance, and non-residents can book 4 weeks in advance.
CAN WE CHECK IN EARLY?
If you would like to check in early, you may contact the Dockmaster’s office via phone or VHF channel 9 about early check in. If the slip you were assigned is unoccupied, you may check in early.
CAN WE CHOOSE OUR SLIP?
A specific slip may be requested during the Dockwa reservation process. To ensure efficient marina management, the slip requested must be appropriately sized for your boat. Requesting a slip is not a guarantee that you will be in that slip.
HOW DOES REQUESTING A SLIP WORK?

Input your request in the Special Request section in your Dockwa Reservations. If you only want to come if certain slips are available you must specify this in your reservation request, otherwise we will fit you in where we can. If you have a few choices of slips you are willing to stay in, list them. We will do our best to accommodate you.
